SGS, a global leader in testing and inspection, is seeking a Level 2 Inspector for a one-month turnaround in Fort McMurray. This contract position offers a 6 on/1 off schedule working 12-hour shifts.

This independent contractor role focuses on API 510, API 570, or CWB Level 2 certifications. You will apply your industrial welding-related inspection experience in shutdowns, quality assurance, and vendor surveillance. The position requires expertise in inspecting welds on pipelines, pressure vessels, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect welds on various fabricated products
• Conduct quality assurance and vendor surveillance
• Perform site inspections during turnaround
• Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards




• Collaborate with project teams for effective inspections

Requirements:
• Minimum of CWB Level 2, API 510 or 570 certifications
• Experience in industrial settings, including oil and gas
• Few years of turnaround or recent construction experience
• Must be knowledgeable in inspection standards
• Authorization to work in Canada required
