BLUEWATER DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION CONTINUING AND ADULT EDUCATION NIGHT SCHOOL TEACHER ENG4E/ENG4C and OLC3O/OLC4O Location: M’Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre, Owen Sound
Dates :
Term 1 - September 22, 2026 - November 26, 2026
Term 2 - December 1, 2026 - February 18, 2027
Reports to : Kathy Archer, Learning Services Administrator
Salary :$49.92 (inclusive of holiday and vacation pay) as per Article 7.02
Duties and Responsibilities : Six hours of in-person instruction on Tuesday and Thursday between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and 3 hours of facilitation weekly
Implement effective student assessment practices (e.g., descriptive feedback)
Enhanced curriculum-based content to integrate differentiated instructional strategies designed to improve student; engagement and foster deeper learning; and
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience: Teacher in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Intermediate/senior qualifications required in the course subject areaEnglish
Assets : Experience with Office 365 and Aspen
An understanding of effective learning teaching, assessment strategies, and differentiation
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills




Excellent oral and written communication skills; and
Knowledge of the board approved virtual learning environment (Brightspace or O365 Teams)
Job Requirements: A valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle
Eligible to work in Canada
Clean Vulnerable Sector Police Check
