NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde seeks a Consultant Cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This permanent role includes inpatient duties and outpatient clinics within a team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will fill a Consultant Cardiologist position following a recent resignation. Applicants should ideally have a focus on electrophysiology and possess the necessary qualifications including MRCP and GMC registration. Your contributions will be vital to the cardiology service provision and inpatient care at QEUH.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the in-patient cardiology rota and weekend cover
• Conduct outpatient clinics at the New Victoria Hospital
• Undertake pacemaker implants and participate in EP consults




• Support the vetting of GP referrals and patient consultations
• Schedule administrative tasks in accordance with designated PAs

Requirements:
• Must hold full GMC registration and MRCP
• CCT in Cardiology or CESR eligibility preferred
• Dual accreditation in GIM is highly advantageous
• Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent experience
• Willingness to fulfil on-call responsibilities of 1 in 11
