Job Description
Insight Global is hiring for a Senior Full Stack Developer Lead to support a major digital transformation initiative within a leading bank. This role is for an upcoming vacancy and will be a 12-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion to full-time permanent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering, experience delivering within complex enterprise environments, the ability to write high-quality code while leading multiple teams and work streams.

This role will support a broader transformation effort aimed at modernizing/migrating the digital experience and improving responsiveness, operational efficiency, and business value delivery. As part of this initiative, the engineering team is working within a modernizing cloud workplace with growing emphasis on AWS, containerization, Terraform, and CI/CD practices.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java-based full stack development

Development team management experience

Hands-on experience with:

Java, APIs, and backend development

Angular

Oracle databases

Strong experience working within cloud environments, with exposure to or hands-on work in:

AWS (Lambda, APIs, containerization, IAM, & security)

CI/CD pipelines

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders

Strong ability to work independently

Working with offshore development teams

Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Terraform)

Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments

Exposure to or involvement in AI implementation or integration initiatives

Experience supporting or delivering work within large-scale digital transformation programs

Prior experience with platform modernization or migration initiatives
