Myticas Consulting is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer for a long-term contract supporting a federal government transformation initiative in Ottawa.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on development, configuration, integration and platform support across ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery and Security Operations.

Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Work arrangement: Five days per week onsite
Duration: Two-year contract with possible extension
Security: Active Government of Canada Secret clearance is mandatory
Expected start: September 2026

Responsibilities

Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery schedules.

Install, configure and maintain MID Servers.

Configure Discovery credentials and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Develop and maintain Identification and Reconciliation Engine rules.

Configure CI class structures, relationships and CMDB health metrics.

Build CMDB dashboards, reports and monitoring solutions.

Support Service Mapping and proof-of-concept environments.

Configure Vulnerability Response and Security Incident Response capabilities.

Integrate ServiceNow with vulnerability scanners, SIEM platforms and other security tools.

Develop workflows, routing rules, notifications, assignment groups and SLA processes.





Support security-data ingestion, normalization and workflow automation.

Perform development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment and production support.

Produce technical documentation and maintainable code aligned with ServiceNow best practices.

Required Qualifications

Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.

Robust JavaScript development skills.

Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions and Script Includes.

Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

Hands-on experience with Discovery, MID Servers, CMDB and IRE.

Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.

Familiarity with ServiceNow Security Operations and associated data models.

Experience with testing, troubleshooting and production support.

Active Government of Canada Secret clearance.

Ability to work onsite in Ottawa five days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow CSA or CAD certification.

Experience implementing CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping.

Experience integrating vulnerability-management or SIEM platforms.

Knowledge of CSDM and enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
