Black & McDonald is currently seeking a Mechanical Foreman to join our Construction team in Vancouver! The Mechanical Foreman position is located in Vancouver, BC and typically reports to the Project Manager. Responsibilities

Enforces all company health, safety, and workplace policies and procedures Supervises a crew of employees (5-10) and prioritizes work accordingly Plan, in conjunction with the Project Manager the execution of assigned projects Maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships Assist with monitoring job costs, reporting, forecasting, and productivity Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the construction plan including scheduling and logistics Participate in the oversight of subcontractors and subordinate staff activities Provide support in field administration: timesheets, project reports, and material purchases Conducts toolbox meetings as required to review overall operations Competency Requirements

Journeyman Trade Qualification Work Experience Requirements

5-7 years field experience in Mechanical Construction Experience as a Mechanical Foreman or in a supervisory capacity is an asset Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements

Knowledgeable in building materials and systems Proven Planning and Scheduling Skills Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications Understanding of applicable local and provincial labour codes Computer skills related to Microsoft applications UA170 Membership Wages

Wages are in accordance with the UA Plumber & Pipefitters Local 170 Standard ICI Agreement Commercial Rate Schedule.
