Learn more about CareersWe currently have an opening for a full-time Silviculture Forester/Supervisor to manage programs in BC. The position will be based out of the office at Strathnaver. In this role, the successful candidate will plan and administer all aspects of reforestation through to free growing for various tenures managed by the company. In addition, Dunkley maintains a robust silviculture program on its Tree Farm Licence, which involves post-free growing treatments and innovation. Other responsibilities will include:contract management and supervisionengagement with government, First Nations partners, and 3 rd party stakeholderscoordination of operations with other internal departmentsother post-harvest management and planning aspects.The ideal candidate will possess the following technical skills and experience:registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered ForestTechnologist (RFT), Forester in Training (FIT) or Registered Professional Forester (RPF)



with the Association of BC Forestry Professionals (ABCFP)preference will be given to candidates possessing previous silviculture and operationally related experience in forestryfamiliarity with current technology and forestry applicationsknowledge of current BC forest legislation, regulations, policies and guidelinesvalid Class 5 Driving Licence and safe driving recordoutstanding problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilitiesexceptional interpersonal and communication skillsability to work independently and in a team environment.Salary is commensurate upon level of experience, competitively in the $80,000 to $100,000 range as a starting wage, with a comprehensive benefits/pension package, and plenty of room to grow within the company.
