OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE Mariner is building a talent pool of experienced Solution Architects for upcoming opportunities across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We are seeking highly skilled professionals who are passionate about designing innovative technology solutions that solve complex business challenges and drive organizational success.

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and guiding the delivery of scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leaders to translate business requirements into practical architectural solutions while ensuring adherence to best practices, governance standards, and organizational strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise across a diverse range of technologies, a solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, and proven experience leading solution design initiatives. You will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to evaluate risks, provide strategic technical guidance, and support successful project delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE: Design end-to-end technology solutions that align with business and technical requirements.



Develop architecture models, solution blueprints, and technical design documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

Assess and mitigate technical, security, and operational risks throughout the solution lifecycle. Provide architectural leadership and guidance during project planning and implementation. Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes. Support stakeholders in defining roadmaps and technology strategies that enable business objectives. WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB: Experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, integration patterns, and modern architecture frameworks.

Experience creating architecture artifacts, technical design documents, and solution roadmaps. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.
