Located between Fort Vermilion and La Crete, Hill Crest Community School is gearing up to serve a diverse group of 324 students. In this position, you will deliver essential instruction targeting literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth for students facing challenges in these areas.
A relocation to northern Alberta is required for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement targeted instruction for literacy and numeracy
- Foster social-emotional development among students
- Develop lesson plans based on individual learning needs
- Regularly assess student performance and adjust teaching methods
- Work closely with colleagues to improve educational outcomes
Requirements:
- Must have a valid work permit or residency in Canada
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent degree
- Qualification for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Willingness to relocate to northern Alberta
- Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Intervention Record Check
