We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Diesel Mechanics to support a large fleet maintenance operation in Dartmouth. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and heavy-duty equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled servicing
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Complete brake, suspension, engine, and drivetrain repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines
- Valid driver's license required
- Red Seal Certification is considered a strong asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
