SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent is responsible for registering internal/external/emergency clients; assigning beds and providing continuous monitoring, welcoming and directing patients, clients or the public; offering telephone support to the department and finally ensuring the printing of various reports related to the Admissions department.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma plus an additional administrative support program or course from six months to one year in length, or equivalent;
- Medical terminology training or completion of this training within set deadlines (training available in iTacit);
- Knowledge of software commonly used within the Network;
- Calm personality and ability to foster good public and interpersonal relationships;
- Ability to work in a changing work workplace;
- Ability to work independently and as a team member;
- Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
