As a full time Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of electronic hardware critical to our scientific instruments. With over 5 years of experience and a BS in Electrical Engineering, your focus will be on schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout with Altium Designer, and lifecycle support. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical requirements while managing component obsolescence and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic hardware for scientific instruments - Own PCB designs from concept through production - Manage component obsolescence and EOL activities - Support regulatory compliance and documentation - Collaborate to ensure design verification and manufacturing transition
Requirements: - BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline - 5+ years in electrical or hardware engineering - Strong board design and Altium experience - Understanding of end-of-life processes - Familiarity with embedded software and Python scripting
