Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Master Grower to lead and oversee all aspects of our cultivation operations. This pivotal role involves managing the entire growing process, from seedling to harvest, ensuring optimal plant health, quality, and yield. The Master Grower will develop and implement cultivation strategies, maintain a high standard of horticultural excellence, and lead a team of growers to achieve production goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the growth of a thriving cultivation operation in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive cultivation plans to maximize plant health, quality, and yield.
- Oversee daily grow operations, including planting, pruning, training, pest management, and harvesting.
- Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, light levels, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Maintain detailed records of plant growth stages, nutrient schedules, pest control measures, and harvest data.
- Train and mentor cultivation staff on best practices in horticulture, equipment use, and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with grow equipment and implement maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to cultivation activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in horticulture or commercial cultivation environments with a focus on cannabis or similar plants.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and how to optimize water delivery for healthy plant growth.
- Mechanical knowledge for maintaining and repairing grow equipment and systems.
- Hands-on experience with gardening techniques such as pruning, training, and pest management.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling plants or equipment.
- Basic math skills for measuring nutrients, adjusting environmental controls, and recording data accurately.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in horticultural settings for pruning, trimming, or repairs.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping and process management.
Work schedule:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday
- Mornings, Days, evenings shifts or night shifts as needed.
- Shift times may vary depending on crop cycles and business requirements.
Pay: $110,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
