This temporary full-time role reports to the Manager of Design, emphasizing engineering excellence in municipal projects. You'll lead the creation of construction standards and specifications, ensuring alignment with current legislation. In addition, the position requires supervising junior engineers and ensuring the protection of infrastructure, the environment, and public interests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead development of City of Windsor standard specifications
- Oversee capital project design and administration
- Update construction standards per legislation changes




- Liaise with local construction and provincial committees
- Perform Health & Safety responsibilities

Requirements:

- Master’s degree with 4 years, or University degree with 6 years of experience
- Licensed by Qualified Engineers of Ontario
- Valid Driver’s Licence and ability to travel off-site
- Knowledge of relevant municipal statutes and regulations
- Proven communication and supervisory skills
