QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification and qualified to teach in the Intermediate and/or Senior divisions, in accordance with Ministry of Education regulations.

Technological Studies – applicants must hold qualifications in specific subject area.

$57,408 - $120,054 Annually (based on 1.0 FTE); salary grid is based on QECO rating and teaching experience; annual salary is prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2026

- Current qualified internal secondary part-time contract teachers, has to fit 2026-27 school-year timetable. Applications from current part- time contract teachers should be addressed and emailed to the attention of the respective school Principal.

All submissions are to include a complete cover letter, resume, qualifications, a copy of your current Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers, practice teaching reports or the most recent performance review(s) and the names of three (3) qualified teaching references at least one of which must be a current principal, if applicable (one document if submitted electronically).

All employees are required to provide an original Police Record Check (which includes a “vulnerable sector search”) acceptable to the Board prior to the commencement of employment. In accordance with regulations, this will be an ongoing expectation of employment for Grand Erie employees every five years of employment
