Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Gas Fitter to join our team, with a focus on the installation and servicing of outdoor gas appliances and equipment. This role involves working with BBQs, fire tables, fireplaces, patio heaters, outdoor kitchen appliances, and natural gas and propane systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on gas fitting or appliance installation experience, is comfortable working independently and alongside our team, and takes pride in completing clean, safe, and professional installations. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice looking to gain specialized experience in outdoor living and gas appliance installations while continuing to develop their trade skills.

Responsibilities

- Install, service, and maintain gas appliances, with a focus on BBQs, fire tables, outdoor fireplaces, patio heaters, and other outdoor gas equipment
- Complete natural gas and propane connections, including gas piping, fittings, regulators, shut-off valves, and appliance hookups
- Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and operational checks to ensure all installations are secure and functioning properly
- Read and follow manufacturer specifications, installation manuals, and technical drawings for proper appliance installation
- Troubleshoot and assist with repairs involving burners, ignition systems, valves, regulators, and gas supply
- Assist with the assembly,



positioning, and installation of outdoor kitchen appliances and heating equipment on residential and commercial job sites

Previous Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience installing or servicing gas appliances, BBQs, fire tables, fireplaces, patio heaters, or similar equipment
- Experience working with natural gas and propane systems, including gas lines, fittings, regulators, and appliance connections
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair
- Familiarity with pressure testing, leak testing, and safe gas installation procedures
- Experience reading and following manufacturer installation manuals, specifications, and technical drawings
- Comfortable using hand and power tools and working on residential and commercial job sites
- 2nd or 3rd Year Gas Fitter Apprentice preferred
- Valid BC driver's Class 5 license and ability to travel to job sites
