Accountant/Bookkeeper

Performance Objectives

- Streamline and manage monthly financial reporting processes to provide accurate and timely financial insights to senior management.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled by the 15th of each month.
- Conduct regular audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Deliver comprehensive tax filings and compliance reports, securing zero errors and meeting all regulatory deadlines.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements and budget forecasts to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Enhance our financial systems by implementing new software solutions to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and drive business growth.

Environment & Resources





You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with our operations and sales teams. Utilize industry-standard accounting software and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Essential Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel, with an ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of managing financial processes in a manufacturing or similar workplace.
