Job overview

You will be required to use your knowledge of Hotel Operations, to create and maintain analytical tools by using Microsoft Excel, and Ai for the operational team. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic, resourceful, and results-driven team player.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintain Spreadsheets - Actual vs. Budget/Forecast/Prior Year Revenue - Using the DRR to compare against the budget forecast and prior year's results.



Done weekly (Monday)
- Update actuals in the forecast file - Using reports from Management files Reporter, update the property forecast file with actuals, monthly after the month has closed
- Update Forecast File - Using the input from the properties, update the Consolidated forecast file. Done monthly (25th of the month)
- Maintain the Segmentation File - Using the information from the Forecast file, updated the Segmentation Analysis file. Twice monthly
- Maintain an updated Human Resources P&L; using the downloaded information from Great Plains, by the 15th of each month.
- Maintain the Westin and Holiday Inn Toronto Airport manual P&L; - using reports from the Management Reporter, update the manual P&L;'s after month end close
- Update the forecast accuracy spreadsheet. Monthly
- Assist with the set-up of the Budget Files. Annually
- Create Ad-Hoc reports as requested
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Possess or working towards an accounting designation

- Working knowledge of the hospitality industry – 1-2 years
- Intermediate Excel (Hookup, V lookup, Pivot Tables, Graphs, slicers, Macros is a plus
- Copilot and AI
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion are required.
- May be required to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Will be required to work in a fast-paced, stressful workplace.
- Actively listen and ask questions
- Always look for process improvement
