Dental Administrative Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Front Desk Administrator to join our dental team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment while ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Answer phone calls and emails in a timely, friendly manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments according to clinic protocols
- Process payments and handle insurance billing
- Verify procedure codes and enter them accurately into practice management software
- Update patient information and manage records accurately
- Respond to patient inquiries regarding services, billing, and scheduling
- Perform general administrative tasks to support daily clinic operations

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Fluent in English and French (required)
- Healthcare administration experience is an asset




- Experience with dental practice management software is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and organized
- Comfortable handling sensitive patient information with confidentiality
