Role Description The Administrator is a contract, on-site role based in Cambridge, ON, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and office support to ensure smooth daily operations. This position manages correspondence, scheduling, and documentation, including organizing meetings, maintaining records, and preparing reports and presentations. The Administrator coordinates with internal teams and external partners, supports project logistics, and assists with data entry and tracking for inspections, maintenance work, and staffing activities.
The role also includes handling office supplies and equipment needs, supporting onboarding processes,
and helping maintain compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. The Administrator works closely with management and technical staff to support efficient workflows and timely service delivery.
Qualifications
- Solid administrative and office management skills, including scheduling, document preparation, and record keeping.
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with databases or enterprise systems.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with technicians, engineers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and compliance-related activities.
- Knowledge of or interest in high hazard or regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, energy, industrial) is an asset.
- Previous experience in an administrative, office coordinator, or project support role is preferred.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration, office administration, or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work on-site in Cambridge, ON, and maintain a professional, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
