Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and clinically skilled Nurse Injector to join our medical aesthetics team. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in injectable treatments, a patient-centered approach to care, and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based aesthetic outcomes.

This role requires sound clinical judgment, facial anatomy expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to operate within a structured, physician-led setting. The Nurse Injector is responsible not only for treatment delivery but for the full patient journey — assessment, planning, treatment, follow-up, and complication management.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Treatment Delivery

- Administer a full range of injectable treatments including neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers, Sculptra, Profhilo, Radiesse, and other biostimulatory agents, adhering to established safety protocols, medical directives, and clinical guidelines.
- Apply advanced knowledge of facial anatomy — including vascular danger zones, fascial planes, and age-related volume change — to treatment planning and injection technique.
- Perform adjunct treatments as trained and authorized, which may include PRP/PRF therapy, microneedling, skin boosters, sclerotherapy, and laser or energy-based procedures.
- Select appropriate products, volumes, dilutions, and injection techniques based on individual patient anatomy, tissue quality, and stated goals.

Patient Assessment & Consultation

- Conduct comprehensive pre-treatment consultations, including full medical history, medication and allergy review, prior treatment history, and screening for contraindications.
- Develop individualized, staged treatment plans aligned with the patient's aesthetic goals, anatomy, budget, and downtime tolerance.
- Photograph patients using standardized clinic protocols for baseline documentation and outcome comparison.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment protocols, realistic outcome expectations, and long-term treatment planning.
- Decline treatment where it is not clinically appropriate, where expectations cannot reasonably be met, or where body dysmorphic concerns or other red flags are identified.

Follow-Up & Complication Management

- Perform follow-up evaluations to assess outcomes, refine results, and confirm patient satisfaction.
- Recognize, manage, and escalate adverse events including vascular occlusion, ptosis,



nodules, biofilm, hypersensitivity reactions, and infection, in accordance with clinic emergency protocols.
- Maintain current competency in hyaluronidase protocols and vascular occlusion response.
- Escalate concerns to the supervising physician promptly and appropriately.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain thorough, accurate, and contemporaneous records of all consultations, consent forms, treatment notes, product lot and expiry numbers, injection maps, and follow-up data.
- Ensure informed consent is obtained and documented for every treatment.
- Ensure strict compliance with clinical safety standards, sharps and biohazard handling, infection prevention and control protocols, cold-chain product storage, and all applicable health and patient privacy regulations.
- Comply with all advertising and scope-of-practice restrictions applicable to prescription aesthetic products.

Team & Practice Contribution

- Collaborate closely with the supervising physician, fellow injectors, medical aestheticians, and front-of-house team to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience through professional conduct, discretion, and consistent service standards.
- Support clinic growth through appropriate rebooking, treatment planning, and homecare recommendations — always subordinate to clinical appropriateness.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, injector training sessions, and continuing education.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment room; assist with inventory tracking and product ordering as required.

Qualifications & ExperienceRequired

- Active, unrestricted nursing licence in good standing with the relevant regulatory body (Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Licensed/Registered Practical Nurse, depending on local scope of practice).
- Formal, accredited training in aesthetic injectables (neuromodulators and dermal fillers).




- Demonstrated hands-on injecting experience in a medical aesthetics setting; candidates currently working under physician supervision are eligible to apply.
- Proficiency with neuromodulators and hyaluronic acid fillers, including full-face assessment and treatment planning.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Professional liability insurance, or willingness to obtain coverage prior to start date.
- Strong patient assessment skills with proven ability to recognize contraindications and manage adverse events.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across a diverse patient base.
- Professional references will be required.

Preferred

- Experience with advanced products and techniques — Sculptra, Profhilo, Radiesse, cannula technique, skin boosters, or full-face structural work.
- Experience with adjunct aesthetic procedures including PRP/PRF therapy, microneedling, and laser or energy-based devices.
- Established patient following, or demonstrated ability to build and retain a book of business.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record and practice management software.
- Additional training in facial anatomy, cadaver courses, or complication management.
- Comfort with treatment documentation and educational content for clinic marketing, always with documented patient consent.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

- Clinical environment with regular exposure to needles, sharps, and biohazardous materials.
- Prolonged periods of standing, and fine motor precision work requiring steady hands and close visual focus.
- Evening and weekend availability required to accommodate patient scheduling.
- Occasional travel for training, conferences, or manufacturer-sponsored education.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $16.81-$50.00 per hour
