National Taekwondo is looking for a warm, responsible, and energetic teacher to join our Afterschool Program team.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and can create a safe, positive, and engaging environment. Previous experience is welcome, but full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support children in the Afterschool Program
- Lead games, arts and crafts, and group activities
- Assist children with homework and reading
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Support school pickup and student transitions when required
- Communicate professionally with parents and other team members
Qualifications
- Responsible, patient, caring, and dependable
- Comfortable working with children between 4 and 12 years old
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to speak Korean is strongly preferred
- ECE certification or childcare experience is an asset
- A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record are assets
- Must be willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
