Entwistle Concrete Products Ltd. is looking to hire 1 to 2 Seasonal Aggregate Wash Plant Loader Operators to finish out the season for our wash plant operations located just north of Hwy43 near Glenevis, AB.Operators will be required to keep wash plant fed with material, at times load trucks, man the operation tower, cleanup around and under conveyors and screen decks, visually inspect conveyor systems to ensure they are operating properly, as well as help with general maintenance. Labor work is part of this . If you are not prepared to perform manual labor, please do not apply.

The plant will run Spring through Fall, Monday to Friday, with dayshift (3 worker crew) operating from 6am-6pm, and night shift (3 worker crew) operating from 6pm to 6am. Shift may run through weekends if production quotas are not being met. Rotations of 2 weeks of dayshift, 2 weeks of night shift. Previous experience operating a loader is considered an asset.

Experience in the aggregate crushing or washing industry considered an asset. After a 3 month probation period, health benefits may be available.

Responsibilities/General Duties

- Training in the operations and training to be capable of operating a front end wheel loader
- Assist team of plant operators with the daily operations and up-keep of the plant.
- Performing repair/maintenance on the plant under the direction of plant foreman or lead hand.
- May require considerable physical activity, must be capable of heavy lifting, bending and twisting
- Assist with a variety of job operations
- Ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and setting
- Responsible for completing daily equipment checklist
- Monitoring and ensuring accurate weights
- Monitor material production within specifications




- Ensure consistent feed to maintain a quality product
- Create an atmosphere of teamwork
- Seek out and implement Best Practices

- Adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies – training provided

Maintenance

- Operate and perform routine maintenance on the loaders, skid steers, and telehandlers, which includes washing and cleaning the operator’s cab inside and out, greasing, refueling, changing oil and filters, and maintaining all fluid levels
- Responsible for updating and maintaining all equipment service records for any piece of equipment operated, keeping accurate and thorough records of the maintenance performed, the hours on the unit, date, time, etc.; complete proof of regular service may be required
