Manager, Business Analysis & Agile Delivery

Description:

We are seeking a results-driven and cooperative Manager, Business Analysis & Agile Delivery to lead a team of Business Analysts and Scrum Masters/Project Managers supporting Data Engineering and Business Intelligence initiatives. This leadership role is responsible for driving requirements management, agile delivery excellence, stakeholder engagement, and project execution while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in data and analytics environments, agile methodologies, project management, and people leadership. This individual will play a key role in fostering a high-performing team culture and delivering impactful data-driven solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts and Scrum Masters/Project Managers, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee business requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and translation into technical deliverables for data and BI initiatives.
- Ensure effective adoption and execution of Agile/Scrum practices across multiple teams and projects.
- Serve as the escalation point for project-related issues, scope management, and cross-functional alignment.
- Partner with Data Engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
- Drive process optimization and establish standardized Business Analysis and Agile delivery practices.
- Manage team capacity planning, workload balancing, and resource allocation across initiatives.




- Align project priorities with organizational goals, strategic initiatives, and technology roadmaps.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and professional development efforts to strengthen organizational capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Agile project delivery, Data & Analytics projects, and/or Project Management.
- 3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
- Strong understanding of Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and reporting ecosystems.
- Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum teams and implementing Agile delivery best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience establishing and standardizing Business Analysis and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with project collaboration and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps .
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for team development, mentoring, and continuous process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience leading teams within Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Digital Transformation environments.
- Professional certifications such as:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees and relevant industry certifications are preferred.
