About The Role McKesson is seeking a Senior ServiceNow AI Engineer to deliver innovative AI-powered solutions that improve healthcare operations and employee experiences at enterprise scale. This role combines advanced software engineering, ServiceNow platform expertise, intelligent automation, and cloud-native development to implement secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.

You will work closely with product, architecture, security, and engineering teams to build AI-enabled workflows, up-to-date integrations, and automation capabilities that drive measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, enterprise platform development, and automation technologies. A minimum of 7+ years of experience in application development, with at least 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, is required. Candidates should have proven expertise in developing enterprise applications using JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, APIs, and integration technologies.





Experience in implementing AI-enabled workflows, automation, and intelligent platform solutions is essential. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Generative AI, AI Agents, cloud-native architectures, and relevant certifications such as ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS, or AI-specific credentials.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions integrated with AI capabilities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop intelligent workflows utilizing AI Agents, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and automation tools to streamline processes and improve user experiences.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, integrations, and reusable platform services to support scalable enterprise solutions.
- Translate solution designs into secure, scalable, and production-ready implementations aligned with best practices.
- Drive cloud-native, API-first, and automation-focused engineering practices to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automate testing processes, and maintain platform reliability and operational excellence.




- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable long-term solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, contribute to engineering standards, and participate in innovation initiatives to foster continuous improvement.

Benefits McKesson offers a competitive compensation package as part of our Total Rewards program. Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, skills, performance, and market conditions. The pay range for this position is $99,100 to $132,100. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits.
