Role: AI Governance Analyst

Location: Toronto, Canada(Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Required Skills

- 3+ years of experience in AI Governance, AI Risk Management, Technology Risk, or Responsible AI
- Good understanding of Canadian privacy laws and regulations (PIPEDA and related frameworks)
- Experience conducting risk assessments, impact assessments, or compliance reviews
- Understanding of AI/GenAI use cases and associated risks
- Robust documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct risk profiling and assessments of AI/GenAI use cases, models, and applications developed by internal and external teams
- Identify risks related to privacy, security, compliance, bias, explainability, and responsible AI practices
- Work closely with development and business teams to define and track risk mitigation actions




- Review AI solutions for compliance with organizational governance standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare governance documentation, status reports, risk summaries, and committee presentation materials
- Present findings and recommendations to Risk Review Committees and key stakeholders
- Coordinate with governance, privacy, legal, security, and technology teams throughout the assessment lifecycle
- Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of approved AI initiatives
- Collaborate closely with existing AI Governance team members and contribute to ongoing governance initiatives and reviews
