The Structures Technician installs, inspects, modifies, adjusts, or repairs structures, such as corrosion, stringers, frames and longerons on assigned aircraft.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Performs operational checks and corrosion control.
- Uses complex test equipment such as, multi-meters and deviation

meters, and specialized test equipment to perform maintenance.
- Repair or replace parts based on following blueprints, schematics,

handbooks, and other technical documents.
- Performs calibration, repair and replacement of parts based on

inspection results following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents.
- Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD

awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
- Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft records.
- Working knowledge of technical publications and aircraft maintenance

applications.
- Must be capable and willing to execute standard aircraft maintenance

tasks as part of daily operations.

Other Or Additional Responsibilities

- Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of basic sheetmetal tools.
- Working knowledge of aircraft components and systems.
- Ability to interpret schematic diagrams, engineering drawings and

blueprints of assigned task.
- Working knowledge of standard sheetmetal work.
- Working knowledge of technical orders and maintenance forms.
- Ability to read and interpret data is required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to obtain a control goods clearance.

Experience & Education
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum of Two (2) to four (4) years recent experience in the repair of

aircraft avionics, com/nav, or instrument systems of the C-130 aircraft. Four (4) years experience preferred.

Physical Requirements / Working Environment

- May work in Aircraft maintenance hangar or outside.
- May be required to respond to a wide variety of operational





circumstances, including extreme weather conditions and rudimentary infrastructure.
- May be exposed to extreme noise from turbine and jet engine aircraft.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to

electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts, vehicles, or aircraft.
- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for

certain periods throughout the day.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp, or handle objects, use finger

dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify

small objects and hand tools.
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other

small scales.
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools,

ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc. What We Bring

limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
- The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the

company’s base pay compensation for the location and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
