Location: Montreal, On-site Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Analyst to join our investment team. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in, or holds, a bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. The analyst will support data collection and analysis, build and maintain spreadsheets and dashboards, and help prepare comprehensive reports for senior management to inform key investment and business decisions.

The role also involves researching market trends, industry movements, and competitive dynamics to generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities Data Collection &

- Integrity Use the Bloomberg terminal (and tools such as Yahoo Finance and Benzinga) to gather financial ratios, comparable metrics (comps), and other data for portfolio and investment analysis.

Maintain, update, and verify financial datasets to uphold accuracy, completeness, and data-integrity standards. Reporting &

- Visualization Build interactive dashboards in Excel to report monthly and quarterly financial performance.

Ensure dashboards and reports deliver clear, concise, and actionable insights for finance and investment stakeholders.

Assist in preparing presentations and summary materials for senior management. Analysis &

- Research Compile and analyze historical market trends and current economic conditions to support portfolio analysis.

Monitor industry movements and the competitive landscape to provide strategic insights into the securities investment environment.

Review and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.

Evaluate financial metrics to support strategic planning and portfolio optimization. Modeling &





- Risk Develop financial models to forecast future performance based on historical data and market trends.

Support risk analysis by identifying potential business and portfolio risks and assessing their impact.

Track portfolio performance against relevant benchmarks and flag notable variances.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data analysis and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude).

Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga, or similar financial tools (an asset).

Knowledge of financial and capital markets, and exposure to investments (an asset).

Understanding of data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Solid organizational and time-management skills.
