This position is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and the surrounding areas. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.
As an Appliance Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and install household appliances in customers’ homes, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues and complete repairs and installations.
- Service a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, ice machines, wine coolers, washers, electric dryers, electric wall ovens, dishwashers, electric stoves, range hoods, and microwaves.
- Provide excellent customer service by clearly explaining repair processes and timelines to clients.
Requirements
- Answer all questions on the application form.
- Hold a valid Canadian work permit or be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Have a reliable personal vehicle for work.
- Have conversational English skills.
- Have basic technical skills; free training will be provided.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a solid focus on client satisfaction.
- Have basic tools to get started. During the interview, we will explain which tools and equipment are required. Additional tools can be purchased gradually as work is assigned—you do not need to have everything before starting.
