Actuonix is a leading designer and manufacturer of Miniature Linear Actuators and Servos. Based in Victoria, BC, Canada, we provide innovative and economical micro motion solutions for the growing needs of several markets including robotics, aerospace, automotive, medical and radio control. Our domestic facility is located near Keating Crossroad in Victoria, BC.

In business since 2004, we are a small but established business continuing to expand year on year. You will be reporting to the Production Manager.

As an actuator assembly technician, you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of our products. This will require a fine motor skills as our products are all small, and delicate. You must be able to read and follow the detailed work instructions in English, and be able to use a computer to test the actuators and log the results.

You should be able to work diligently with little supervision, and be dedicated to upholding our quality policies. We work in an office setting, with no standing or lifting required. Good eyesight, manual dexterity and the ability to focus on repetitive tasks is key.

Any experience in shipping would be helpful to backfill for other employees on vacation.

Hours: Are flexible, but 8 hours per day is expected. For the right candidate,



this job will continue as a full time salaried position with full benefits after the 4 month probation period expires. The part time option means we could accommodate a reduced work week for parents of school age children, or retirees that want to work part time only. We hire all races, genders and ages.
