Assistant Manager: Full Time

Starting Wage $20 to $21 per hour

Must have open availability to work open, and closing shifts on weekends, and weekdays as needed

At Valet we are a respected and well-established Car Wash Company looking to recruit a full time Assistant Manager for our busy exterior/interior car wash facility in Brantford.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining a productive work schedule, leading, training, and supporting the team with the daily overall operation, and production of all vehicles coming through the car wash facility.

The role includes: Effectively managing communications to the team. Accurately completing administrative duties. Ensuring revenue, product, service, and labour targets are met. Overseeing the coaching and overall performance of the team. Ensuring excellent customer service standards, team productivity standards, health and safety standards and facility cleanliness standards are met.

What we are looking for: An enthusiastic proven team leader who can:

Drive team effectiveness and contribute to the overall achievement of sales, productivity, and budget objectives.

Support and lead the team consistently through ongoing observation, active listening, training,



coaching and positive team communication.

Engage and influence the team to set and achieve goals and standards.

Demonstrate leadership by working hands on with team members to get the job done and exemplify standards, expectations, and teamwork.

Identify opportunities for improvement and make change happen.

Ensure each customer receives professional and exceptional customer services.

Ensure the companies health, safety, and maintenance standards are met.

Provide clear and consistent documented coaching and feedback to support team work, job performance and adherence to the company’s code of conduct and standards.

Delegate tasks effectively and follow up to provide feedback and recognition.

Help create, follow through and execute on business plans while working closely with the manager and regional manager.

Manage production flow to increase productivity.

Investigate any inconsistencies in work performance, processes, company standards code of conduct and address with urgency.

Control labour and inventory costs.

Order products and supplies to ensure that the business runs effectively.

Complete daily walk throughs to ensure all equipment is well maintained and running efficiently. Report any deficiencies to the manager and site maintenance.

Ensure accuracy of store transactions.

Actively recruit, support ongoing staff development, recognize, and reward.

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and records.





Maintain high company standards and core values to achieve the company’s mission.

Share ideas and collaborate effectively with team members and management

Support the team and be available to work days, evening, and weekend shifts.

Effectively multi task in a busy environment.

Work confidently in a rapid-paced environment.

Ensure quality control practices are followed.

Ensure team accountabilities to all standards, policies and practices are met.

Confidently use Microsoft office suite of products and possess proficient data entry skills.

Qualifications: Minimum 2 years Management experience

Minimum 2 years customer service experience

College, University, or equivalent experience

Wage $20 to $21.00 per hour

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44.0 per week
