School of Education is searching for a Tier II Canada Research Chair in School-Based Mental Health. This tenure-track position offers opportunities for an emerging scholar to facilitate team-oriented research focused on effective mental health practices within educational frameworks. You will enhance student wellbeing by investigating practical and equitable support systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research aligned with school mental health policies
- Mentor and supervise students engaged in research
- Develop multidisciplinary research collaborations
- Publish impactful findings in high-quality journals
- Engage with schools and communities for effective knowledge translation
Requirements:
- PhD in counselling or educational psychology
- Demonstrated research capacity and publication success
- Effective teaching experience at university level
- Proven ability to secure external research grants
- Less than 10 years of experience aligned with CRC guidelines
