Assistant Siding Installer

Gateway Exteriors Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated Assistant Siding Installer to work alongside our lead installer on residential and light commercial exterior renovation projects.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in siding, soffit, fascia, and exterior finishing who wants to continue building their skills while working with a skilled crew that takes pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of vinyl siding, soffit, fascia, trims, flashings, and exterior finishing components
- Measure, cut, and install exterior cladding materials accurately
- Help fabricate and install aluminum trim, capping, and flashings
- Keep tools, equipment, materials, trailer, and jobsites clean and organized
- Follow manufacturer specifications and Gateway Exteriors quality standards
- Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment
- Communicate professionally with the lead installer, supervisors, team members, and customers
- Assist with daily setup, cleanup, and material handling

Required Qualifications

- Experience installing vinyl siding, soffit, and fascia
- Experience using an aluminum brake is strongly preferred
- Ability to measure, cut, bend,



and install aluminum trim and exterior finishing components
- Solid attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work safely at heights
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

Experience With Any of the Following Is an Asset

- Eavestrough installation
- Aluminum siding
- James Hardie fibre cement siding
- Maibec siding
- Maibec CanExel engineered siding
- Exterior insulation and weather barrier systems
- Specialty trims, flashings, and exterior finishing products
