We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Care (ADOC) to join our compassionate team at The Mayfair Senior Living + Care in Abbotsford. As an ADOC, you will lead by example, coordinating and supervising direct resident care activities to ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care in a safe and respectful workplace. You’ll work closely with our Director of Care (DOC) and other departments to continually assess and improve our services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess residents' needs and develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans
- Liaise with physicians, community agencies, families, and volunteers to ensure holistic care
- Lead and coordinate the annual Interdisciplinary Care Conference and Medication Review meetings
- Conduct monthly audits and identify areas for improvement, ensuring quality standards are met
- Assist in identifying and implementing quality improvement initiatives within the facility
- Deliver education and presentations to staff throughout the year, ensuring ongoing professional development
- Coach nursing and care staff on MDS, PointClickCare (PCC),



and Point of Care practices
- Participate in JOHS and Infection Control meetings, contributing to a culture of safety
- Support the orientation and integration of new employees into the team
- Foster a safe environment for both residents and staff
- Support TCG Quality Improvement and accreditation initiatives

Qualifications:

- Graduate of an approved nursing school with current active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BSN preferred or a combination of nursing experience and additional education
- Proven experience in caring for frail elderly and physically/mentally challenged individuals
- Previous gerontological nursing experience (5 years preferred)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
