Cardston is a tight-knit town of about 3,700 people in Alberta's southwest corner — a gateway to Waterton Lakes National Park, 45 minutes from Lethbridge, and surrounded by some of the best scenery in the province. A&W; has been part of this community for years, and we want to keep it that way by hiring locally. No experience? No problem. We'll train you. What matters most is that you show up ready to work, treat people well, and take pride in what you do.

What you'll do:

- Prepare menu items to A&W;'s quality and food safety standards — every burger, every time
- Take and process orders accurately using our POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions with care
- Keep the kitchen, dining area, and workstations clean and organized throughout your shift




- Greet every guest with a friendly attitude and suggest menu items when it feels natural
- Follow all A&W; operating procedures, food handling protocols, and health & safety guidelines

What we expect:

- Show up on time, in full uniform, ready to work
- Follow A&W; food safety and sanitation standards — no shortcuts
- Treat teammates and guests with respect
- Communicate openly — if something's wrong, speak up
- Take ownership of your station, whether it's cash or kitchen
- Cell phones stay off the floor during your shift

What helps but isn't required:

- Previous food service or customer-facing experience
- Food safety certification (we'll help you get one if you don't have it)
