Shift Start time: 17:00 - 05:30

What you will do:

- Drive AZ tractor trailer vehicle to deliver freight to assigned stops from Ottawa-Belleville-Toronto-Ottawa
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freight
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answering calls, texts etc….
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

What we require of you:

- High School Diploma
- Valid AZ Driver’s License
- Clean CVOR and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Must have 1 year COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVING experience
- This shift will be Monday to Thursday.



12 hour workdays with start times 5:00PM
- Capable of doing physical labour to unload freight with a manual pallet jack at certain client location when required
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
- Customer Focus – experience providing quality customer service
- Adaptable to change
- Experience working in a quick paced environment
- Experience working independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to work on a team and being a team player
- Must be comfortable with using onboard or handheld computer devices
- Must have a safety and compliance mind set
