Responsibilities

- Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with creative cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked items
- Maintain strict food safety and handling procedures to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
- Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning workstations, equipment,



and utensils regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed

Skills

- Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and decorative finishing
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers confidently
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for cleanliness, packaging, and quality control
- A passion for baking, cooking, and creating visually appealing desserts that delight customers
