Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations on baked goods and pastries
- Handle food preparation tasks such as packaging baked items, restocking displays, and maintaining cleanliness in the front area
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation and cooking tasks as needed to ensure timely service
- Manage the display of baked goods, ensuring freshness and visual appeal to attract customers
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of packaging materials, ingredients, and baked products

Experience





- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and basic kitchen operations is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude to create an inviting atmosphere for guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or packaging within the food industry will support success in this role
