About the role The Production Team Member is responsible for working in the dough room, which is the beginning of the bakery production process. You will work with the Table team and Loaf team, filling in where needed, with a possibility of covering breaks for the Bun team.
What you'll do
- All employees must be willing to
- - Adhere to all GMP and SQF standards
- Adhere to the attendance policy
- Adhere to the workplace safety standards
- Responsible for using an understanding of ingredients and food preparation to follow recipes, and create consistent bread
- Working with the dough machines to ensure the dough is portioned to the correct sizes
- Adhere to production schedule standards
- Adhere to product specification standards with measuring tools
- Willing to rotate around the stations as needed
- Placing baking pans on oven carts
- Pushing oven carts to proofer or cooler
- Scoring & adding toppings to dough as needed
- Proper use of knives to cut and portion dough
- Ensure proper packing materials are used for the correct products
- Verify the quality of finished products and packaging

Qualifications
- Be self-disciplined,
composed, outgoing, pleasant, polite, well-mannered,, neat and clean in appearance (in uniform)
- Have strong initiative, leadership qualities, a positive demeanor, and a voice of reason
- Act with integrity in all aspects of the job
- Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50lbs, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion
- Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment
- Be able to work in subzero environments as well as 90-degree environments
