Barista – Almond Coffee & Cuisine

Almond Coffee & Cuisine is looking for skilled, energetic and customer-focused Baristas to join our café team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee, strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver consistently high-quality beverages in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare espresso-based beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, flat whites and specialty coffees.
- Prepare matcha, teas, cold beverages and signature Almond drinks.
- Follow standardized recipes, portioning and presentation guidelines.
- Steam and texture milk correctly for different beverages.
- Maintain consistency in espresso extraction, beverage quality and presentation.
- Create basic to advanced latte art where required.
- Operate commercial espresso machines, grinders and other café equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked coffee station.
- Restock milk, coffee beans, syrups, cups, lids and other beverage supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines, grinders, tools and work surfaces.
- Take customer orders and provide friendly, professional service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen,



service and management teams.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory checks and minimize product wastage.
- Support the Head Barista and café team during busy service periods.

Requirements
- Previous barista or café experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of espresso-based beverages.
- Experience using commercial espresso machines and grinders is an asset.
- Milk steaming and latte art skills are preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
