Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to accurately process transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and make correct change using basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food prep areas and customer seating
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed during food handling and preparation
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly




- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without sacrificing quality or safety

Experience

- Previous experience working as a barista or in food service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience in serving and food handling within the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards in food preparation environments
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
