Be Love Restaurant is looking for a passionate and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our Front of House team!

This is primarily a Day/Night Bartender role, with a lot of Prep Work during the days that might feel like you're doing more BOH styled tasks in the FOH, so it's ideal for someone who loves every aspect of hospitality and craft drink programs, and is excited to develop across a multidisciplinary space. Our restaurant is a dynamic place, and we care deeply about our ethics and values, so we're looking for someone who is equally driven by that purpose and meaningfulness, and willing to learn all of the insides and outs of what we do.

You will have a regular schedule with us, from Thursday to Sunday, consisting of 4 shifts per week, roughly 5-6 hours per shift, depending on restaurant needs. There is always opportunity to pick up an extra shift here/there, especially as staffing requirements evolve, as well as covering coworkers during their time off.

What You'll Do

- Bartend day shifts while learning the craft, ingredients, and preparation behind our beverage program.
- Bartend some evening service, delivering exceptional cocktails, wine, beer, and guest experiences.
- Prep the foundational ingredients of our bar program; fresh citrus and veg, scratch made kombucha and tonics and coffee/tea and syrups, as well as local wines and beers and our craft cocktails.
- Build genuine relationships with our regular community and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere.




- Work collaboratively with both Front and Back of House to create seamless service.
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, professionalism, and hospitality.
- Be trained in serving and taking tables, so you can run the bar and jump onto the floor with your teammates.

Our FOH staff does everything together, so although your priority position is as the bartender, we all pitch in to serve tables and greet customers within our respective positions when needed collaboratively, guiding guests through our food and beverage menus with confidence and enthusiasm.

What We Are Looking For

- Previous bartending experience is a plus, but if don’t have much, we value character and work ethic more than anything.
- Flexible and reliable availability, including availability throughout the week and weekend, according to the aformentioned schedule, as needs evolve.
- A positive attitude, kindheartedness, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
- Someone who thrives in a energetic, constantly changing, fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- A genuine appreciation for thoughtful food, beverage, and hospitality.
