Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Beam Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating beam saw machinery to accurately cut large panels, sheets, and other materials according to precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality cuts, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate beam saw machines, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment for each cut.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to determine cutting specifications.
- Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems and Fanuc controls to automate cutting processes efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on beam saw equipment, including troubleshooting issues with CNC programming or mechanical components.
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality of cut materials.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment and secure operation procedures for forklifts and press brake machines.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly, packaging, and warehouse logistics to ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the process to ensure cuts meet specifications and standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines, lathes, and press brake equipment.
- Experience with Fanuc controls or similar CNC systems for automated machine operation.
- Strong blueprint reading skills combined with mechanical knowledge for precise material handling.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for interpreting design files.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and assembly processes is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, basic math calculations, and quality control methods.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, packaging, and warehouse logistics.
