We are looking for a candidate for our School Age Care Program. Before School Care from 7am-9am and After School Care from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The minimum qualifications are a Responsible Adult Certificate. Please only apply if you can work these hours and have a RA certificate.

The successful candidates will have to demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest standards in quality childcare - strong communication skills and team-working abilities are essential. We are looking of an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced candidate for this program.

Responsibilities

- Follow the Emerald Hills philosophy and curriculum to plan, implement and supervise age-appropriate activities
- Daily set-up and clean-up and clean-up
- Provide clear & caring supervision to children
- Consider the individual needs and goals of each child and respond accordingly
- Ensure the health and safety of the children
- Work as part of the team,



which includes children, their parents, and the Center staff members, using the philosophy of the Center
- Works in conjunction with the Manager and the Administrator to ensure the needs of the classroom are met. This includes the children and the staff.
- Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in team meetings and professional development days
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Maintain a safe, and positive learning workplace for all children and their families

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Licence/Certification

- Responsible Adult Certificate, ECEA, or ECE Certificate (required)
