Responsibilities for this role include:

- Greeting all Guests & Visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Escorting Guests to their rooms, offering to carry their luggage
- Being knowledgeable of all hotel facilities and services
- Identifying and explaining room features to Guests
- Provide accurate and compelling tourist and destination information to Guests
- Assisting Guests with unloading and loading of luggage, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to and from the Guest’s room
- Ensuring vehicles parked in parkade and overflow parking have proper identification
- Writing parking infractions for those vehicles without proper identification
- Assisting Guest Services with check-ins and Guest requests, either in person, on the phone or through email
- Safely parking and retrieving Guest vehicles
- Maintaining confidentiality of all Guest information
- Complying with all legislative requirements and internal standards, policies, and procedures while upholding the company’s core values
- Other relevant and related duties as assigned

The “must haves”:

- A passion for the tourism industry




- Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- A valid drivers license
- Committed to delivering the highest level of guest service and satisfaction
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment, and on your own
- Great organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to repeatedly push, pull and lift up to 50lbs as well as stand, bend, twist and stretch for long periods of time
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role

The “nice to haves”:

- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a full-service hotel
- Valid certification in First Aid
- Valid certification in WHMIS
