Overview

Prime Boiler is looking for Operators that are interested in joining Prime's team roster. What this means is, once you are on our roster, we let you know of upcoming projects we need operators for. When contacted, you let us know if you are available for that particular project. To be on the roster, you will complete Prime's Onboarding program including safety training and new hire orientation.

Duties

- Start up and shut down of boilers
- Ensure the proper operation and functioning of the organization’s boilers and related equipment to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable working environment for all.
- Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on boilers and related machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and surrounding areas, making adjustments as required.
- Maintain assigned area and equipment ensuring cleanliness and order at all times.
- Continually work in a safe manner ensuring adherence to protected operating procedures,



relevant health and safety legislation and other governing codes and regulations.
- Due diligence and reporting as required

Experience
- Special Oilwell, 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer Ticket
- CSO
- Pass Pre-Screening for fit and D&A;
- Drivers License and Clean Abstract
- Ability to travel in western Canada
- Previous oilfield experience
- Proven self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work well independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills required.
- Able to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Excellent communication skills
