About the Position: We are looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Administrator to join our team.

This is primarily an in-house position, with the option for some remote work. The successful candidate will play an important role in our day-to-day operations and will be responsible for keeping our financial records accurate, current, and well organized.

This position is ideal for someone who is confident working independently in QuickBooks Online and understands the full bookkeeping cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, bill payments, EFTs, e-transfers, payroll support, and month-end procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records in QuickBooks Online
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter, review, and process supplier invoices and bills
- Record and apply payments to the appropriate invoices
- Process and reconcile EFTs, e-transfers, deposits, and other banking transactions
- Manage and review QuickBooks Online bank feeds
- Complete bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies
- Monitor outstanding accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payment scheduling and cash flow requirements
- Maintain organized digital accounting records
- Prepare and review accounts payable and receivable aging reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end bookkeeping procedures




- Assist with GST/PST reporting and other government remittances
- Prepare information and reports for management and external accountants
- Assist with payroll administration and related reporting
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Assist with WorkSafeBC reporting and other administrative requirements
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicate transactions, and other accounting issues
- Provide general administrative and accounting support as required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting administration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Excellent understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience performing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Strong understanding of how payments should be applied to outstanding invoices
- Experience working with EFTs, e-transfers, and bank feeds
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Robust organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize competing deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with AutoEntry or similar invoice-processing software
- Experience with Payworks
- Experience with Canadian GST/PST
- Experience with WorkSafeBC reporting
- Experience managing a high volume of supplier invoices and transactions
- Previous experience working directly with business owners or management
- Experience with retail Point of Sale (POS) systems

What We're Looking For:



We are looking for someone who understands why a transaction should be recorded a certain way, not simply someone who knows how to enter transactions into QuickBooks.

The successful candidate will be comfortable investigating discrepancies, asking questions when something does not look right, and taking ownership of keeping the books accurate and current.

You should be comfortable working independently, managing confidential financial information with discretion, and taking responsibility for the day-to-day bookkeeping function.

What We Offer:

- Competitive hourly wage of $30–$34 per hour, based on experience
- Part-time, permanent position
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Approximately 25–30 hours per week
- Primarily in-house work environment with the option for some remote work
