We are looking for a meticulous, organized, and efficient bookkeeper to join our team. Ideal candidates should possess a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices, and have prior accounting experience in a corporate or non-profit organization. Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is essential. The bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ensuring timely financial reporting.

Job Type: Part-time, 24/7, available 8 hours a day, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Working Languages: Fluent English

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks accounting software.

Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, checking balance sheets, and calculating HST.





Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection and payment.

Perform bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.

Prepare financial reports summarizing the organization's financial position in terms of revenue, expenses, and cash flow.

Experience: At least one year of bookkeeping or accounting experience with a thorough understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.

Proficient in using QuickBooks software for bookkeeping.

Robust analytical skills and the ability to effectively analyze accounts.

Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
