Based out of Cambridge, ON, Jamesway Incubator Company Inc. is looking for a Brake Press Operator for our afternoon shift from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM- Monday to Thursday.

Note: *1.50 shift premium applies for AFTERNOON shift.

Responsibilities:

- Operate brake press machine, set up light gauge metal, and perform spot inspections of parts.
- Read and interpret instructions, schematics, blueprints and drawings for assembling parts.
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
- Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges and other precision-measuring instruments.
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
- Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel).
- Inspect machine for defects and report to Supervisor if/as necessary.




- Ensure machine and area is clean and safe.

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years experience working as a Brake Press Operator and/or in the manufacturing industry (preferred).
- Mechanical Aptitude - Able to perform basic mechanical duties.
- Able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production targets & deadlines.
- Knowledgeable of Health & Safety regulations & promoting a safe work culture.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent attendance record.
