About Toronto Imperial SchoolToronto Imperial School is an international online school offering a comprehensive part-time program for students in Grades 9–12 from around the world. Our programs follow the curriculum established by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic OSSD Teacher with expertise in Business and/or Social Science to teach BBB4M (Introduction to International Business) and/or CGW4U (World Issues: A Geographic Analysis).

The successful candidate must be available for live online classes during the daytime, between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging live online lessons for BBB4M and/or CGW4U.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Ontario Curriculum and Growing Success.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet different learning styles and student needs.
- Work effectively with students from different countries and time zones.
- Thoroughly assess and grade student assignments and provide constructive, timely feedback.
- Monitor and report on students’ academic progress and overall development.
- Support students in achieving their learning goals and maintaining high academic standards.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions with students, parents,



and colleagues.

Requirements
- Subject Matter Expertise in BBB4M and/or CGW4U is mandatory.
- Previous teaching experience in Business and/or Social Science subjects.
- Experience working with the OSSD curriculum; curriculum development experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of the Ontario secondary school curriculum.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to different learning styles and needs.
- Experience teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds and different time zones.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- A responsible and student-focused approach to teaching.
- High standards of integrity and professional conduct.
- Availability to conduct live classes between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Toronto time.
